A Date in the Park

What do you get when you combine a park, plastic wine glasses, and “Photo Tag”? The most creative date that Shelly’s ever been on! Read about her fun experience:

The most creative date I have ever been on was a date I went on with two other couples. The guys all planned the date and we girls just had to show up. First they took us to a park where they had a table set up with candles lit and a lunch they had made themselves. They had plastic wine glasses and sparkling cider to drink from them. After dinner we played a game that I had never heard of before. They call it, “Photo-tag” The person who is “it” is given a digital camera to use for the game. The idea is that you try to “tag” someone in a photo. Whoever you capture in the photo is then “it.” It was a lot of fun running, rolling, and doing whatever we could to not get photographed. Since it was a Saturday a lot of people were at the park and a lot of them actually joined in our game. After we were all tired out from photo-tag we played on the jungle gym, swung on the swings and had a great time. By the time we got done with that it was dinner time so we ate the leftover food from lunch. We had ridden in three separate cars, so each paired off with their date. When my date was driving me home, he took a detour and stopped at the pet store that I worked at. He told me he wanted me to show him the animals that I work with and tell me more of what I did at the store. We went inside and I showed him around and pointed out the birds that I was currently training. It was definitely the most creative date and most creative way to show me that he was actually listening to what I said on the date as well.
